VGA/SVGA Arcade Monitors
You can now buy arcade monitors which accept standard VGA and SVGA inputs -
and these are usually the type of monitor used in 'off the shelf' PC Arcade Cabinets

These monitors have the advantage that you can plug a PC straight into them,
(as they are just a standard VGA/SVGA monitor)

This is also their big disadvantage, as there is no difference (display wise)
from using an 'arcade' VGA/SVGA monitor to using a normal VGA/SVGA monitor

It's still a high scanrate monitor - so it still looks exactly the same

To be honest, it just come down to personal preference -
The easiest way to get a PC into an arcade cabinet is to use a VGA/SVGA monitor

but - for almost all the games currently available on PC emulators -
The most accurate way to display them is to use a standard/low res Arcade Monitor

It's also happens to be by far the cheapest solution
