INTRODUCTION

What is the purpose of this site? We hope that this site will grow to become a general repository of assets for building a virtual arcade and more specific for 3d models free for personal, non-commercial and non-public use. This site will not only provide geometry models but also bitmaps and videos that can be used as (animated) textures.
For now the site will focus on models, textures, videos for the FE-3Darcade / Emulaxian frontend and Lazarus frontend.

(22-6-2006) Updated the frontend zips to 0.95.3. This fixes the issue with the lightmap of Station Break with certain skins, including the 3darcade default skin. You will only need to replace your current fe executable. So I recommend getting the upgrade zip from the frontend section if you already have 0.95 installed.

(20-6-2006) There is a problem with the lightmap of the Station Break Arcade breaking up when a skin is used, like the default one, where the vertical size of the 3d sprite is smaller then 480 pixels. We are working to fix this problem as soon as possible, stay tuned! Update: Please test the update frontend executable that should solve the issue with Station Break. Get it here !

(19-6-2006) The arcade cfg for the Station Break arcade had a few errors. If you have already downloaded it, then please redownload it again!

There are probably more that I missed so just check the forums for the latest WIP's.

(22-5-2006) So much is happening I can barely keep up. Just when I think things are getting slow, new interest in the project lights a fire under everyone and the next thing I know I'm posting almost daily updates. This week it's Pigskin by BTribble. Also, the list of Pinball skins are multiplying like rabbits. Let's see there is Amazon Hunt (jibmums), Solar Fire (jibmums), Sexy Girl (steverick), and the list keeps getting longer. Keep an eye on the WIP page for all the latest updates. Last but not least, Kartag has created a .dat file for clrmame that helps in renaming all your visual pinball stuff to match the ,ahem, unconventional naming scheme of your VP tables. You can find that on the pinball page.

This release includes a 512 version if that's your flavor. Don't forget to keep tabs on Fossils new arcade WIP "Station Break". The thread for that anxiously awaited work of art is here.

(20-3-2006) HowardC has released a Championship Fast Draw cabinet and, seeing as there was no hope of a Mame emulation of this game, he made a Directx version of the game so his model wouldn't feel lonely. You can get the model in the Models section, as always, and the game is temporarily available by reading this thread.

(22-2-2006) 3D Arcade / Emulaxian 0.95 released! Get it from the frontend section.

This is primarly a maintenance release that fixes the multiuser online arcades and makes them more easy to use. Also most of the newer arcades are now available as online arcades. The most importent news is that you can setup the fe to automatically login to the online arcades. Just doubleclick the "startup in multiuser mode" link in the fe folder and select online from the main menu. That's all you need to do to meet your friends inside an arcade like in the old days...

-The first time you login to the online arcades the fe will automatically download all the needed files if they are not yet installed.
-In principle you can use the online arcades by just unzipping the fe in a folder and doubleclicking the "startup in multiuser mode" link. The only drawback will be that the arcades will be filled with generic cabs. So be sure to get the cab models too for the full effect and put them in your models folder :)
-Consolidates the bug fixes from 0.94.2 through 0.94.4

(09-02-2006) HowardC has done some updates to the Mortal Kombat collection. He also updated WWF Wrestlemania and even had time to throw in a new cab, Radikal Biker! Get them in the Models section.

(29-11-2005) Updated 3darcade / Emulaxian to 0.94.3. This fixes a very importent bug in cylarcade mode! Actually I screwed up while copy and pasting some code...oops ;)

0.94.2:
-Fixes a bug with models with a different width property screwing up the rotation in cylarcade. Very importent fix when using the larger cabinet models in this mode.
-Fixes a bug that the search and filter box did not get rotated correctly for 90 degrees cw rotated skins.

Btribble has released some updated versions of his previous cabs along with a new cabinet model. Check them out in the Models section. The list is as follows:

Biofreaks v1 (NEW)

(15-7-2005) 3D Arcade / Emulaxian 0.94 released! Get it from the frontend section.

-Zone based realtime culling of models. Realtime, no loading between zones! This should make it much easier to create faster and much larger arcades and combine indoor and outdoor scenes.
-Event and time based scripting control over all the objects and their properties in the 3d world. I included some example scripts for light switches, elevators, texture animation, colliding with models in the scene and more.
-As a bonus, scripting control over all other sprites and members too. Sprites and members can be created from scratch, giving the potential of expanding the functionality of the frontend itself!
-Rating dialog box, for rating the selected item. Works just like the search dialog box.
-Maturity dialog box, for rating the maturity of the selected item. The icons for the maturity dialog are from the esrb game rating system. These can be replaced by any other rating system if so desired.
-end more...

(11-01-2005) The first cab models by btribble, 720 Degrees and Professor Pacman, are now avaialble in the models section. Welcome Bobby!

(07-01-2005) Updated the frontend zips to 0.92.4. For upgrading just unzip the upgrade zip from the frontend section into your fe folder.

-fixes a bug with sorting a-z in 0.92's new on the fly filter dialogs.
-added more sorting options to the on the fly filters.
-fixes the size of the handle bar in relation to the scroll content of the text sprite in the new dialogs with rotated skins.
-fixes a bug when clicking on a column label, to sort the column, in the second field of the gamelist editor.
-added the vpforcetablefocus property to the general cfg menu (cfg\fe.cfg) vpforcetablefocus|true|#boole|When set to true this will check if the vp table has focus and if not it will force focus to the vp table window. It will do this for 2 minutes everytime it checks if the kquitvp is hit. Therefore this only works with the special internal vp launcher. This will prevent the vp table to launch behind the fe and become invisible.|
-added karateg's pinball_demo gamelist to the list archive in the main fe zip that covers most of the current games.

(16-12-2004) Karetag updated the Backglasses set with lots of new, improved and higher resolution images. He has put lots of hours into this update and it shows! :) Get them now in the pinball section...

(06-12-2004) Sinterklaas kado 3D Arcade / Emulaxian 0.92 released!

-Add, replace and remove games/models on the fly in movecabs mode. Simply click on a model to replace or delete it. Or click anywhere in the viewport to add a new game. Creating your own arcade layout has never been this easy!
-Added an elaborate gamelist editor to the listmanager.
-Added new skinnable versions of the filter and search dialogs (pic).
-Deniro updated the manual and made it 100% compatible with firefox and opera.
-A lot more, see fewhatisnew...

(21-09-2004) Check this out! This superb new arcade by Deniro, beautiful and efficiently made so it should perform well even on very moderate systems with the newer diet cab models in place! Get it now from the arcades section... Comments very welcome in the beta thread in the wip section of the forum...

The Damned Dungeon is a dark arcade with carefully made light- and shadow maps. It further gives us animated people bots that play the machines in the arcade and rotating ceilig fans. The result is an awesome arcade that really brings those old shabby rundown arcades from our memories back alive again.

(2-09-2004) I finally got around adding Jester's Air Hockey model to the models section! Also pinball fans should checkout the general pinball sklins section regularly...the skinning guys keep on pumping them out in a steady flow :-)

(17-8-2004) 3darcade / Emulaxian 0.91.5 This build fixes a major bug in 0.91!
This hopefully fixes a major bug introduced in 0.91.0 that caused several unpredictable issues and even crashes after coming back from a game! If your using 0.91 please update your exe! Even if you like me and others don't see any problems with some revisions of 0.91! The bug was caused by a Director quirk that causes havoc when moving around scripts...arghh! Get the updated exe here.

(11-08-2004) Damn looks like there is a serious BUG in the 0.91.4 build causing the fe to regularly crash after running a game! See this thread on the forum for more info and for helping us with tracing this issue. Also you can get the 0.91.2 exe there which seems to be unaffected by this issue and test it so we can be sure that that is indeed the case!

(04-08-2004) 20+ new models by Voodooscientist and a small update of the frontend executable to 0.91.4.

Arcade models: Exterminator, Tossem, Football table.
Console models: Nes, Snes, N64.
Computer model: Ti99/4A.
Prop models: Lots op props including an ashtray, stools, phone, signs and an animated pink elephant ride...lovely called Pinky by us!

fe 0.91.4: Get the updated exe here.
-By request from Pixelhugger I added the keyjumptolist property to the general cfg (fe.cfg) which allows to setup keys to directly jump to any gamelist in the hierarchy. They can also be binded to buttons as simulated keypresses.
-Mame 0.84 no longer supports -listinfo only -listxml. The internal mame parser needs the info from -listinfo. As a workaround the fe will now look in the mame folder or in the fe utilities folder for xml2info.exe that converts the xml output to info format. It ships with mame so it should normally be already in your mame folder. If its not found the fe will prompt you to point to a valid dat. If you use an old mame version that does not support -listxml then be sure to delete the xml2info.exe from the mame folder and or the fe's utilities folder. If its not found the fe will use the old -listinfo flag...
-Better support for artwork with "."' characters in the filename/
-Adding fpsxtramodels through the arcades section in the listmanager works again.

(12-07-04) Well, Baraka and I have been working our butts off for a while on this one. Welcome to a new era of cabinet models. These are what he and I call low-poly/low-mesh/low-shader models. I know, the name isn't really very catchy, but I think you'll still be impressed with the models themselves. These models (some of which are remakes of already exsisting models, some of which are brand spanking new, all of which have totally new "virgin" model files as well as all new art to dazzle the eye) are specially formatted to get your arcade flying. Most of them have 5 or less shaders, 5 or less meshes, and under (most of the time) 500 polys, but they still look awesome. The best part is, you can dump em in your arcade just like the older versions and they'll work just fine. With the help of Deniro, we've set it up so you can have the choice of downloading the older models (a lot of people went to a lot of work to do those, and we appreciate it more than you will ever know. Plus, we didn't want to step on any toes here ;) or the new low-poly versions. Deniro insists that we call them "Diet-Models." Anyway, here is the list, and let me tell you, it's pretty extensive (though by no means done):

First, from Baraka: Bosconian, Centipede, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Donky Kong 3, Donky Kong Jr., Galaga, Galaxian, Mario Brothers, Ms. Pac-Man, MVS 1-slot, Pac-Man, Popeye, Sinistar (upright), Tempest, and Xevious.

Next, from me, Pariah: 1942, Astron Belt, Bega's Battle, Bump'n Jump, Cliff Hanger, Cobra Command, Domino Man, Frogger, Galaxy Ranger, Jr. Pac-Man, Juno First, Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair 2, Mappy, Moon Patrol, Phoenix, Pleiads, Space Ace, Super Don Quix-ote, Space Fury, Super Pac-Man, Tac/Scan, The Pit, Time Pilot, Thayer's Quest, Tron, Vanguard and Zaxxon!

All models listed in green are totally new!

All told, right now that's 44 new models.

As an example of what is so great about the new "Diet-Models" (D, you freak) is below. I've chosen two of my own models to give you an idea of how much more streamlined these new cabs are!

Bump'n Jump (original)

Polys: 472
Meshes: 15
Shaders: 11
Texture Memory: 3093.1 kb

Bump'n Jump (low-poly/low-mesh/low-shader NEW)

Polys: 280
Meshes: 6
Shaders: 5
Texture Memory: 1241.5 kb

I think the stats pretty much speak for themselves, and this isn't even a really good example! Many cabs came in much lower on the revamped versions. What all this means is that your processor doesn't have to work nearly so hard to keep up with your arcade. We've loaded an arcade on a midrange computer with a crapola video card with 100 of these models and have noticed NO slowdown whatsoever! ArcadeVGA owners: Fear the FE no more! You know who you are.

New stuff coming soon: Space Harrier (sitdown, animated!), 1943, Aliens Vs. Predator, Astro Blaster, Frenzy, Roc'n Rope (I finally got some halfway decent shots!), Spider-Man, Primal Rage, Tekken 1, 2, and 3, and the first super Diet-Arcade!!

Give em a try. Let us know what you think. As always you can catch us in the forum, or you can get me on MSN IM at [email protected]. You can also email me at [email protected] (remove the XXX. I put it there to keep the blasted spam merchants away from me!) If you have any complaints, problems or other nasty things to say tell it to Baraka (On MSN IM [email protected]). I'm sure they're all his fault!

Lastly: I know that there are a couple of you out there with new models that I haven't put up yet. I am terribly sorry that I let myself get behind on this and I promise that I will get to it very soon. I know I've said that before, and my only excuse is that Baraka and I have been working like crazy to get these new cabs out. Between working on cabs I'm writing my second novel and trying desperatly to juggle a social life. Please remember that we're doing this all for fun. Thanks!

I'm uploading the models and such right now, so (9:37 pm middle America (Michigan to be exact)) they should be up in the next hour or so. If not, then for sure tomorrow morning!

Enjoy!!

Pariah

(17-06-2004) The beta of VoodooScience Lounge is now available in the arcades section. See a Walkthrough video preview here. I also updated the fe exe to 0.91.2 with two small updates. More info and the updated exe here. And view apreview video of the c64 skin here.

(09-06-2004) 3darcade / Emulaxian 0.91 released!

A very big update this time! Some of the new features:

-Support for lightmaps for subtle light and shadows effects. Voodooscientist put these to great use in his fantastic VoodooScience Lounge arcade which features a kareoke bar, a bowling alley, a bar with pool tables, a movie theatre and more! Pics here:
http://3darcade.mameworld.net/arcades/vslounge/vslounge.html

-Several enhancements to the cylarcade menutype which amongst other things makes a whole new kind of console/computer skins possible. See Deniros ingenious Commodore 64 skin as an example. Pics here:
http://3darcade.mameworld.net/skins/c64_deniro/c64_deniro.html

-The menulevels have been removed from the skins and all remaining camera related stuff has been moved to the arcade cfgs in order to make skin assigment more userfriendly. The fe will accept old skins but its recommended to update your skins. The fe will help by saving updated skins to skins\updatedskins\. See the sticky thread in the "setup help" section of the forum if you need assistence with the conversion of skins and for more info about how to assign skins under the new scheme:
http://echo.messageboard.nl/2243/viewtopic.php?t=1026

-New magic cabs (see the forum here how to use them), new dummy marquees options, better handling of user errors and more see what is new:

Danielle, BTW is our awesome research assistant! Yowza!) and Sly Spy! And here I am with another golden oldie: Reactor! (08-04-2004) I'm bored with my week off, so here's another cab. This one is from my list of Rave-Faves! Pooyan. Don't ask me why, but I love this stupid little game, and the cabs not so bad either. (Pariah)

(08-04-2004) Here's another new cab from me. Cameltry. And a new cab from Ed. Food Fight! Cool. Yup. Ok. Bye, bye. (Pariah)

(07-04-2004) Someone on the forum requested an out of order sign for those games that aren't emulated yet have models (i.e. MK4). Anyway, here it is, check it out in the models section. By the way, we've reached a milestone here. This makes 200 models for 3d arcade! Enjoy. (Pariah) UPDATE: I got off my butt again and finished my House of the Dead (original) cab. Again, enjoy! (Pariah)

(05-04-2004) Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that I didn't have Baraka's UP-TO-DATE MK4! He's over here at my house crying right now, so here I am updating again! Twice in one day! Anyway. Here's MK4 version 2. Look for version 45 by the flippin' time he leaves here tonight, after Baraka decides that it's just not bloody good enough!! (Pariah)

(05-04-2004) Another models update! Baraka gives us Swimmer (beautiful cab) and Mortal Kombat 4 (not emulated yet, but great cab nonetheless). Krusty 101 is back with some updated version 2s of his cabs Championship Sprint, NBA Jam, Tapper, and Wacko (some of you experienced problems with Wacko before. These new versions should take care of that problem!). Great stuff Krusty! Finally, I got off my lazy butt and made a new model (with more to come really soon!): House of the Dead 2 (also not emulated, but you can purchase the PC version that is almost as good as the arcade!). Hope you all enjoy, and have a great Spring Break! (I work for a school district, so I get spring break off! Lucky me.) (Pariah)

(25-3-2004) BIG BIG BIG models update! First, from Baraka: Lunar Lander (yeah baby!), Marvel Super Heroes, Martial Champion, Primal Rage, Street Fighter II Champion Edition, and Up 'n Down. (13-3-2004) Huge cabinet update today. First, Baraka brings us ALIENS! Awesome! And from Krusty 101: 10! Yes, you heard me! 10 new cabinets! Stick with me here: 1943, A.P.B., Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2, Karate Champ, Kung Fu Master, Scramble, Spy Hunter Sit Down, Tetris, and WWF WrestleFest! WOW! Check all the new models out in the Models section!

(9-3-2004) There is no stopping Baraka, it would seem, as he is back again today with two more cabs. First the anxiously awaited Final Fight, a brawler among brawlers. His second rather odd selection of the day is Journey. Odd game. Odd band. Beautiful cabinet! Thanks, B. (Pariah)

(8-3-2004) Updated the 7th Heaven arcade zip with a version of the default ambientsound mp3 with added reverb made by Sacpino that fits better with the big dome. I also added the Emulaxian skin to the skins section as it does not come anymore with the default fe zips. Fixed a small bug in the fe when reapplying the same random filter twice. No reason to do such a thing...but it should not produce an error ;-) Thanks to Chisel for the report. ()p()

(7-3-2004) Baraka's contribution today is a slight revamp of his Black Tiger cab, and an all new classic cab (one of my favorites) Ikari Warriors! And just so you wouldn't think he was resting on his laurels, he also finished a cab for one of my all time favorite games, Shinobi! Great stuff, B. Krusty 101 comes back again as well, with a beautiful Killer Instinct, to go with his KI2. Not to be left out, Spanner and I collaborated on a beautiful After Burner cab. As always, ALL FIVE of the new cabs are in the MODELS section. (Pariah)

(6-3-2004) It's late, late, late, and Baraka's new cabinet is great, great, great! Golden Axe 2. Also, I guess that Baraka isn't the only one that doesn't sleep. Ed stayed up late to give us 3 beautiful cabs! Atari 2600, the greatest console system ever, Space Duel and Stargate! And here comes Krusty 101 with his first cab: Killer Instinct 2! Awsome! Lastly, Chapter 3: Knowledge, is up in my cabinet tutorials, in the MODELS section. Wow! What a day!(Pariah)

(5-3-2004) I dont' think that Baraka ever sleeps. All the better for us though, since today he gives us the one and only Choplifter! Beautiful cab! (Pariah)

(3-3-2004) Yet another grand slam to deep center field from Baraka: It's Sky Shark! Go see it in the models section. 2nd update today is one more cab from Baraka. Let's here it for Gate of Doom! Nice work. (Pariah)

(2-3-2004) Baraka gives us the other side of the Ghosts 'n Goblins coin with Ghouls 'n Ghosts! I almost spoke too soon! Baraka made a double play today with his gorgeous cab, Side Arms - Hyperdyne. Wow! Check em out in the model section. And I uploaded the first 2 chapters of my model building tutorials. More soon! You can find them in the models section.(Pariah)

(29-2-2004) 3d Arcade / Emulaxian 0.90 released and Deniros 7th Heaven arcade!

0.90:
-The preloadcab property in general cfg can now be set to false. When set to false the fe will no longer preload all models on boot but only when needed.
-Texture overlay menus can now be put on fpsxtramodels. This way jukeboxes, arcgates etc. don't have to be part of a gamelist anymore.
-Support for positional sound effects. For a demonstration see Deniros new 7thHeaven arcade and hear the zeppelin flying over ;-)
-Gencab entries can now use all search operators the fe supports.
-Option to set the camera to be the parent of the environment model in cylarcade. Watchout for a demonstration of this featuring Q-bert soon...
-Added some more dialogs to the internal cfg utility and changed all of them to be compatible with a possible mac port.

Deniros 7th Heaven arcade:
The arcade is set in a steel-frame dome with an animated sky in the background. Magic marquee signs hang in the dome above the games they get their marquees from. Included is also a new batch of magic cabinets, that will instantly fill any arcade with a diversity of models. And then there is that Zeppelin...

Pariah here with another new cab: Spy Hunter Upright! (Pariah)

(28-2-2004) Pariah and Baraka are at it again!! Don't you guys ever sleep? Pariah comes back with Captain America and the Avengers and Smash TV! Baraka is right there with Astroids Delux (Just for Peter), Commando, and another entry in his fantasy series, Ghosts 'n Goblins! Wow! Check em' out in the models section! (Updated by Pariah)

(27-2-2004) Karetag updated the set with Backglasses images. It now covers 798 tables! A new set of playfields will also follow soon. Great work :-)

(23-2-2004) Models, models and even more models...by Baraka and Pariah! Baraka made Black Tiger, Cadash, Haunted Castle, Magic Sword and Pyros. Pariah made Ninja Gaiden, Junior Pacman,a completely revamped Mappy and updated the joystick handle on Satans Hollow... With all these new models it's a good thing that preloading models on bootup will be optional in the next version of the fe. Also I updated the exhibition zip...Fossil mentioned on the forum you could not go upstairs before going downstairs...and indeed that was true for the arcade cfg in the online zip...If you also experience this then open up arcades\exhibition.cfg and set in section 1: fpsstartpos|-567 0 532 -38|etc.

(19-2-2004) Pariah made an Astron Belt model. And Baraka made a Rastan, his first cab model! Welcome Baraka :-) Fossil reported a bug that grabbing cabs only worked with the mouse in 0.89. Uhm can't have any bugs in it...so...mmm caused by the dummy camera introduced in 0.89. Fixed it and updated the fe zips to 0.89.3. New exe here. Last but certainly not least...Scapino updated his artwork bitmaps to conform to the new generic pin standard for the pinball tables he made in vp...and they look wonderful :-)

(18-2-2004) Updated the fe to 0.89.2 This adds a new commandline option requested by Fossil and Scapino, fe3darcade.exe -vpdxfix, that can be used by the internal vp launcher to set directdraw to use software acceleration only and after running the vp game it will turn full hardware accelerartion back on. Works the same as thebatch file Scapino made available on the vp forums. Seems vp needs this with some newer graphic drivers. Also there was a small bug with the new generic model types that in some circumstances the additonal shader would show up without a texture...oops ;-) Hehe get the updated exe here.

(17-2-2004) Gauntlet II, an updated Tron and another great Disc's of Tron, this time the upright version! Yesss... and all by Pariah. And for the fruit addicts Spanner made a Barcrest model with a magic touch, the border color will change depending on the marquee shown on it. I also added an image that explains the skinnning of the new generic pinball model in the pinball section. And I added some demo textures made by Deniro for it.

(16-2-2004) 3D Arcade / Emulaxian 0.89 released!

-Support for external "magic" generic models. Deniro made allready a bunch of them...watch the models section ;-)
-Support for a new kind of generic models that can be skinned completely developed by me and Deniro.
-New internal pinball model by Deniro that takes advantage of the new generic model type. More info soon in the pinball section.
-The chat sprites can now, when not in multiuser mode, be used to show info- and history content for the selected game just like in the info screen. Including basic html if the text method for the sprite is not set to field.
-More options to format information content for the selected game.
-Updated the internal visual pinball launcher. With vp in it's default location, (c:\program files\visual pinball\ , c:\program files\visual pinball\tables\), it should now work out of the box. Reinstantiating of textures is no longer nescessary. And fixes and issue with names with . in it. All in all I think then internal vp launcher should be now your first try to get vp going ;-)
-Enhanced support for the mouse in cabinets.
-The new keyhandler in 0.88 ignored the ctrl, alt and shift keys. Reported by Cory.
-Force1024x768 set to true resulted in an error when leaving the internal cfg utility. Reported by several people..ouch
-And as allways more small enhancements ;-)

(13-2-2004) Pariah made two classics requested by me, thanks! :-) Gauntlet and....Burger Time...for those who know me...yes this Veggie wanted it..it's a game dammit ;-)

(11-2-2004) Scapino made a great set of images for his Visual Pinball tables that utilize the ability of the new gencab option in 0.88.2 to skin all relavant parts. Grab them form the pinball section :-)

(9-2-2004) Bug fix! And new models

1. Pariah went for the big ones...two generic showcase cabs. One with guns and the other with a 6 buttons layout

2. Frontend build 0.88.2:
-The new keyhandler in 0.88 ignored the ctrl, alt and shift keys. Reported by Cory.
-Force1024x768 set to true resulted in an error when leaving the internal cfg utility. Reported by several people..ouch ;-)
-support for external magic cabs
-support for generic cabs that allow all relevant parts to be externally skinned.
Here is a zip with just the replacement exe and a first version of a generic skinnable pinball modell including to bitmaps by Spanner to demonstrate how it works. Not official supported yet ;-)

(5-2-2004) Here is a set with screenshots and marquees for the demos section of the default skin for all current arcades. They will show up in the gamelist selection menu for demos. Just unzip in your fe folder keeping the folder structure.

(3-2-2004) Added a Cliff Hanger model by Pariah. And I added the first version of a new arcade, Laterna, to the arcades section.

(2-2-2004) Perfectionist altert! The ultrawheel in the various section of the default skin had the pricewheel model mapped into it. You can just barely see it, for example in the line that goes through the screenshots on the wheel ;-) I removed it and I also removed the chatboxes from the wheel skin and made the wheel bigger to fill most of the screen. If you use the new default skin just unzip this in your fe folder keeping the folder structure.

(1-2-2004) Added Congo Bongo and Superman models by Spyro. And a coin changer model by Pariah. It will play a coin insert wav when selected ;-)

(31-1-2004) Added a Dragons Lair II by Pariah and an Outrun seater by Nick (Spanner). Happy birthday to ya Nick! :-)

(29-1-2004) Added a beautiful new Tron model and a Rally-X model by Pariah.

(28-1-2004) 3D Arcade / Emulaxian 0.88 released!

The main new feature is the very elaborate new default skin and setup package which will hopefully make it easier to use and enhance the overall experience. See for more info and screenshots of the new default skin in action here. And for a list of changes see fewhatisnew. (Rightclick releases mouselook ;-).)

(27-1-2004) Finally we got a Marble Madness...thanks to Pariah! Oh...and...looks like his Domino Man was added at sometime by uhm...lets say someone...a while back too ;-)

(25-1-2004) Another gun cab by Pariah. This time he made an Operation Wolf model.

(24-1-2004) Pariah made Maximum Force. And Spyro is back with Arabian and Carnival!

(23-1-2004) Pariah is on a role...added his Area 51...our first guncab! Great work... :-) The next version of the fe will have a complete new skin package. To get some feedback I have put a beta package online in the forum...see here for pics and the download link. (Warning large pics broadband users only ;-) )

(22-1-2004) Added Bump 'n' Jump and Satans Hollow by Pariah to the modelssection :-)

(16-1-2004) Added Super Pacman and Frogger by Pariah. Added 1942, Xevious and Wizzard of War by Sapnner. Updated the fe zips with a new executable (0.87.9) fixing a script error that could happen in the listmanager when adding a gamelist that starts with an Upper case letter, ie Platform.atf instead of platform.atf.

(6-1-2004) Updated the fe zips with a new executable (0.87.6) Showing and speaking the name of the user at who's avatar model your looking at in the multiuser arcades works again. Two cosmetic refinements, can you spot them? ;-)

(5-1-2004) Pariah made a Space Ace variant of the Dragons Lair model.

(3-1-2004) Added Commodore 16, Commodore vic 20 and Commodore 64 models with and without a stand to the models section. Tip: Use the arcgategl textureoverlay menu system to display the gamelists directly on the tv screens of these models.

(1-1-2004) Happy New Year! Deniro updated the website. Most useful feature of the new design is the integrated model and model viewer section with options to filter and sort the models list.
