I've noticed EmuLoader's ability to create custom settings per game has been broken for a while. This happened when MAME started adding the folder name to the driver name in the xml output. E.g. sony/zn.cpp instead of just zn.cpp. I've written a little tool which will fix EL's gamelist.
1. Place the tool in the same folder as the EmuLoader.exe file.
2. Create the gamelist as usual.
3. Close EmuLoader.
4. Run the tool.
5. Once finished, open EmuLoader back up and you should be able to create custom ini's like you used to.
This is a very quick and dirty tool I put together to fix a problem. There is minimal error messaging. I can't guarantee it will work for you since I compile my own MAME with only arcade games and haven't really tested it with the full MAME.
