Can anybody help me install MAME on mac intel?

Hey,

When I downloaded MAME for mac intel (I think), I've opened up the folder, and inside I see lots of different folders and what I think are terminal prompts. I'm confused as to why I don't just see an application to install. Can anybody guide me?

I am using a mac with a 2.7GHz quad-core intel core i5 processor
