NeoGeo, flipping a sprite and changing it's position possible issue. (Didn't test on real hardware yet)

Hi guys;

I see an issue with sprite flipping (either horizontal or vertical flipping).
If I flip a sprite and also change it's position, I can see the sprite first rendered flipped in it's original position one frame, then drawn on the correct position the next frame.

As if the system applies the mirroring first and leave the sprite put on the first frame (even if the position is written alongside the flip attribute), then moves the sprite the next frame and continue to apply the mirroring.

The result is I see a very quick ghost sprite flipped on the original position, then drawn on the correct position later.

I don't know if this is my code, or Mame, or even if this is how the hardware actually does it, and if I would get the same issue on hardware anyway.

Going to dig deep into this, (I have a NeoSD Pro on the way, so should be able to test on real hardware too)

But wondering if you guys know about an issue like this?

I use Mame 0.261.0 (November 2023)

Thank you;
