MAME 0.261: Yamaha MU50 XG MIDI module
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8tYVVLhc9ZI
There is a different video on YouTube that shows an actual MU 50 iirc running the same audio demo as shown in emulation for comparison, but was unable to find that videoclip. There are posted videoclips that shown MU 50 emulation with running a .MIDI file.

Yamaha MU50 - Dixie Land.mid - MAME .261

And a different clip where user demonstrates using MU 50 emulation in tandem with manipulating a IBM PC game’s MIDI output.

Although this has been working in MAME, it is neat seeing it in action these days and knowing that other models will eventually be in working shape.
Here is a video clip showing the Yamaha product in action.

A few more videoclips of Yamaha MU models that are supported, but not yet in working shape, but will eventually be working in MAME.

And a couple interesting clips of Yamaha PSR-540

And lastly, the YAMAHA QS300, recently getting preliminary support, and what it can do by running the DEMO SONGS demonstration.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GFPcltc1AYI
Yamaha QS300 has sequencer capabilities and can support multiple tracks of instruments in tandem whereas not the case with Casio unless it is a Casio Cz 5000 that does have sequencer capabilities.
The clip shows how the three units work when connected.
— A rare videoclip somewhat showing how a Casio Sz-1 sequencer is used.
All Casio MIDI recording setup circa 1986 - Casio SZ-1, CZ-1000, and RZ-1
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9eASB_dT8S8
SynthMania : I think this is the first video on the Internet that features a Casio SZ-1 sequencer...? Anyway, here's a circa 1986 all Casio MIDI recording setup: Casio SZ-1 = sequencer Casio CZ-1000 = synth used in multitimbral mode Casio RZ-1 = drum machine —
Since MAME works with one item per time, it would mean having to run multiple instances of MAME. Unsure if there is a current way of somehow linking all three to recognize each other similar to what is shown on YouTube videoclip. It is one of the few clips showing how the Casio Sz - 1 works.
Casio Cz - 5000 has its own built in sequencer module, but Cz - 5000 not yet emulated.
