The partial build was broken by Kale/angelosa in https://github.com/mamedev/mame/commit/7db1458ca12b9ff77e0aefef2d85e14f1e75d8dd Anyone can verify the problem by attempting to make a single-source cv1k build from standard mame. There's various solutions but you can copy scripts/video.lua from my release into your build and it should work.
