Aside from a couple useful links of videoclips of Casio Cz - 230S, several clips were non-English and many others weren’t as informative such as showing examples of what is supported and also limitations of Casio Cz-230s.

A rare videoclip somewhat showing how a Casio Sz-1 sequencer is used.

All Casio MIDI recording setup circa 1986 - Casio SZ-1, CZ-1000, and RZ-1

SynthMania :
I think this is the first video on the Internet that features a Casio SZ-1 sequencer...? Anyway, here's a circa 1986 all Casio MIDI recording setup:
Casio SZ-1 = sequencer
Casio CZ-1000 = synth used in multitimbral mode
Casio RZ-1 = drum machine

I guess one obstacle is not being able to use a sequencer setup arrangement shown in video clip is MAME would have to be setup in multiple instances of running some Casio keyboard and another to run Sz-1 sequencer and somehow do a link where data can go from keyboard window over to sequencer window and back and forth. Think of it being like linking multiple cabs for a multiple cab setup which SailorSat would display in some of her older video clips in her old posts, but not exactly like same thing. It would be multiple of 2 instances of MAME running simultaneously and sequencer and keyboard recognizing each other at same time during operation. If it is actually possible to do it at this, great, but I don’t believe it is possible at this time.

The alternative scenario is whenever Cz-5000 and its own built in sequencer ever gets emulated, the Cz-5000 could cover everything because Casio Cz-1 and other Cz models, except Cz-5000 and Cz-230S, do not have sequencer support.

Fun fact - the sz1 was built into the cz5000. I used to hook it (the cz5000) to an electro-harmonix sequencer, which in turn sequenced a paia modular and triggered a boss dr220e.

The CZ5000 has 8 tracks...and more memory..otherwise it's basically the same sequencer.
