The NMK coinop games update was a good update itself.

> Two very different systems from Casio have been promoted to working this month. The first is the CZ-101 compact keyboard synthesiser. It used Phase Distortion Synthesis, which was Casio’s patent-avoiding answer to Yamaha’s DX series.

With audio currently not happening yet, I can still picture some disappointments coming from some of the gals that enjoyed this system way back then. Something similar to Seinfeld ‘No Bette Middler!?’ moment….

Ticket taker: “ You ladies complain of no audio from Casio Loopy and then angrily leave the theater because Bette Middler won’t be performing in Rochelle Rochelle and then you gals piss off a guy dressed as the Il Paliachi clown character and now that crazy clown is chasing after you!? Oh that’s rich! Now step aside and let those with tickets get by.”
