Problem running sf2049

Hello,
When trying to run sf2049 on the latest version of MAME, it keeps just repeating the bootup sequence and never gets to the actual game. I tried deleting the nvram and cfg files just to rule out any problems with those. It's always played fine before, but now it's not working.

Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB
32GB DDR4 RAM
