Honestly, I'd leave them there.
At least right now somebody can download HBMAME, use -romident, and they will show up as recognized.
It avoids that whole 'what the fuck is this, is it something new?' 20 years from now if somebody finds the files.
The whole project is an odds-and-ends thing (and I really think you should just adopt the old name of MisfitMAME again, as you support less homebrew than official MAME)
