I wish MAME devs would put there differences aside & get along as it only hurts new coders & contributors to the project wanting to join & help to preserve games in the long run.
A new rule should be all arguments settled like this!. A game of something all parties agree in, say both agree a game of Galaga played live! & broadcast to the emulation scene & highest score wins or furthest a person gets. Then the videos or code examined & the winner posted gets for a whole year to say they are right or whatever the argument is about say they won. After said year the loser then could challenge again or submit proof to clear them.
I've read a few things on here which I think is wrong & shouldn't happen as I was always told growing up.
IF YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING NICE THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.
OK This is only my opinion of things that's happened & yes I don't know all the facts but you gotta agree how it looks as an outsider & my suggestion of how things should be sorted out in the future.
All agreements / disagreements replies or whatever you wanna say on this it's up to you.
