i'm pretty sure you can download cheats for retrarch if you grab it from there website & not google play version plus you can update the 1 on there web site google play doesn't update right. so download retroarch from there web site it's what they call the full fat version & there's a section once you have downloaded to update cores, cheats & other stuff.
