I have had similar issues and it is a combination of several things. Specific to the menu it is because the gas is mapped to Joy 1 Down which Mame responds to Joy 1 in the UI so you could control the UI from a Gamepad. To prove this theory press the gas pedal after mapping and the scrolling starts and it should stop. It has been a long time since I dealt with that issue but if I remember correctly the solution is go into the analog devices and change gas to ‘reverse’.
Another thing to look into. I am not near my machine or I would look into my settings. Do a search on ‘combine pedals’. You may need to make an adjustment in the Logitech software to change the setting. If I remember correctly you want to uncheck combine pedals so each pedal is learned separately.
Check back if you are still having issues. When I am front of my machine I can do some digging and get you going. The G920 is a good wheel and works well.
