Pinball Fantasies (IBM 5170 software list) manual protection

I installed pbfant using disk images that match the ibm5170 software list.

This game prompts you to input a word from the user manual to continue into the game. I have an original manual but it won't accept any word I input. So I installed using images from my 3.5 disks and it accepts the word from the manual.

The file datestamps from the software list version is 01-12-94 while mine are 02-17-94. I'm guessing the earlier one is referencing an earlier edition of the manual?
