* gregf mode memories *

If going by non-cpu games time frame, I consider Electra's Flying Fortress not being an early TTL game like years of 1973 to 1975 range. Years such as 1976 and 1977 were the mid range and 1978 to 1981 were late
years for any of the last generation of non-cpu games. I don’t recall seeing Flying Fortress cabs in person until
about late 1976 or early 1977. I may have played it once or twice at most. One of the places I tried playing the
game in late 1976 was at some location where the cab was placed next to a front door. About every 15 seconds
customers would open front door to either leave or enter. The sunlight would drown out the area I was standing
at when trying to play the game. My eyes would have to refocus when trying to play the black and white monitor
game. I couldn’t deal with that and walked away from the game in disgust. That probably made me never to
want to play the game ever again.

Of the Electra games, I probably encountered Avenger more times than other Electra games back in the 1970s.
Flying Fortress was probably the better game compared to Avenger.

Good to know Flying Fortress prom set is preserved. A friend that also went to arcades during 1970s was asking me about PSE Maneater and surprisingly also Knights in Armor because he recalled playing that with his relatives when they were visiting an arcade in Nevada in late 1970s. He remembered Knights in Armor better than I can remember. I don’t know if those have been dumped or backed up, but those were his favorite PSE brand games. The friend thought both Bazooka and Desert Patrol sucked dirt. If he played Desert Patrol a bit more, he might have liked the game.

Were these via Dumping Union contributions? Or not?

Either way, some good contributions since they might be rare these days.

As for off topic hardware, I hope Mattel Electronics Ski Slalom handheld can be found and dumped in order to complete the remaining Rockwell cpu controlled led game to preserve that part of history.
