In that it has never simply run anything from the software list for me. I just now figured out the self-audits are case sensitive. As in, all of my softwarelist roms are in /Software. The default setting is "software", so it didn't think I had any disks. So I get that sorted (pointed it specifically to the Software folder), select swashbuckler on the apple II, for instance, and all I'm greeted with is a mostly black screen that days "check disk drive" at the bottom. No keys seem to do anything at that point. I have to hit the Windows key and force-close mameui.
Same with NES. I Choose "Nintendo Entertainment System", SW Files tab is blank, SW Items... I try to open smusa, and it says files are missing. I go to the said .zip and open it up... both files it says it can't find, are in there. I'm at a loss. Running an audit shows only 1 error for sarpc. That's it. I just did run a random Neo-Geo MV-1 game, so my directories must be good now.
Tried again with Famicom this time. Same thing. It says it's looking in nes\punchout and can't find the files, but they're in there. Specifically, in /Software/nes/punchout.zip.
Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
