Waaay back in 2009 or so (I forget when, exactly), I took a bunch of screenshots of the calendar in mjmyornt and cut them apart so that I could reassemble them to show different dates. I did this because the calendar had run out of years at the end of 1999, and I wanted to see newer dates. For the reassembling, I used a (buggy) PHP program. It (mostly) worked, but you would have to keep reloading the page every minute to see the new time.
Well, I finally pulled myself together, and redid this using JavaScript and a canvas object to redraw the calendar every minute. While I was at it, I updated the list of Japanese holidays (the calendar shows a flag graphic for holidays). Attached is an "actual size" version of the calendar, and a double size version. Enjoy!
