As stated by star_jump:
"If MAME is telling you that you're missing files, then the ones you have are incorrect or outdated. If you want, you can try to run MAME with the -verbose flag and paste the resulting log here."
And as stated by me:
"Even with working BIOS files, the machine is flagged as MACHINE_NOT_WORKING, and will continue to be so until I find the time and motivation to dive into fixing up the CDIC implementation."
