- tape recordings are available, but there are DC offset problems - MAME needs multi-track cassette support

I look forward to seeing how this effort progresses and hope that Quiz Show will be eventually playable/preserved in MAME. Quiz Show is only remaining not emulated cpu based video game I had played back in the 1970s. All the other cpu based video games I recalled playing in 1970s are emulated (several still without analog audio support).
I never thought I would come across Quiz Show tapes for sale, but was fortunate to do so and mentioned it to others so the tapes could be purchased at the time (iirc it was in 2014) Finding the tapes for sale had been on my search list since about 2002 or 2003.
Back in fall 2001, I was visiting Manitou Springs, CO Arcade Amusements and one of the rooms still had a fully working Kee Games Quiz Show. I didn't have time to take photos or play the game which I regret because by the time I was able to visit Arcade Amusements, the Kee Games Quiz Show cab was supposedly disposed of which I dread thinking what that meant. The cab was in decent condition in 2001 and could have been 'parted' with working parts for sale should cab not been repairable. My guess is tape cassette or tape player stopped working and the next idea was probably "lets dump this whole thing in the trash..heck with old games." *sarcasm*
