"Farewell 'Diet Coke' button...

..You have served your purpose."
That entire device unit needs to be saved/preserved for future generations of US citizens for both 'comic relief' and disbelief that was an actual item used on the historical [Resolute] desk in the Oval Office.

President Biden has removed the Diet Coke button. When @ ShippersUnbound and I interviewed Donald Trump in 2019, we became fascinated by what the little red button did. Eventually Trump pressed it, and a butler swiftly brought in a Diet Coke on a silver platter. It's gone now.

He first unveiled the button during an interview with the Associated Press in 2017, showing reporters that with one push, a White House butler would immediately bring him a glass of soda on a silver tray.
However, the notorious Coke-summoning device now seems to have been ousted from the White House, along with Trump himself, amid a new dawn on Capitol Hill.

Now you see it: The infamous Diet Coke-summoning device is seen next to Trump's phone and is encased by a wooden box.

Talk about a difference when comparing the two photos. The first one with either advisers, or lawyers probably having to explain in easy simple terms as best possible so the "blank stare-in-the-face" jackass finally understands what they are trying to explain to him. jackass' former SoS department administrator Rex Tillerson described with exact description: "an effin moron" Tillerson (former CEO) came from Exxon Mobil iirc
The British slang of "clueless numpty" describing the jackass IQ is the ideal description imo.
The jackass has con artist skills and knows how to steal money, or use extortion, but as for needing to have any knowledge or wanting to learn about issues if not fully aware, that is not his area of interest. jackass only thing was the "title and privilege that comes with the title" and stealing/grifting money. The rest of the responsibilities that comes with being a President didn't matter. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EsRG8wEW4AIezp1.jpg
Granted this is only the first few days, but the desk will eventually look like an actual work desk flowing with paper, notes and other stuff. iirc one of the photos had Carter with a typewriter on some adjoining desk doing his own typing. jackass use of Oval Office desk, other than signing his 'ANGRY KU KLUX KLAN' signature on crappy ass executive orders issued by GOP or Heritage Foundation in front of media and GOP scumbags, and posing for photo while seated at desk with demonic grin with visitors standing on the sides, and hawking/promoting commercial products like Goya beans products, was useless.
Thankfully the wannabe dictator wasn't smart enough. An overhaul and then some will be needed to prevent another maniac from taking office. For now, I am glad the current individual behind the desk knows how to do things; how things work etc. without having staff have to explain to him in simple terms. Or praise him for that matter. I am done with having to witness 'chaos and maniacal insanity seated behind the desk'.
