What do rallies have to do with anything? I never go to rallies, I always vote. Biden had been telling people for months, “stay at home, vote by mail," why are you so shocked that his supporters did that?

Trump and his lawyers has not been able to present a single piece of evidence of this supposed widespread vote fraud. The case he tried taking to Texas was particularly bizarre. It amounted to, “There must be fraud because I lost, the fraud was done so well it’s undetectable, therefore I want the election result to be completely ignored.”

If the fraud is so obvious, where’s the evidence?

He can declare war on another nation. He can’t call on the armed forces to attack US citizens without invoking the insurrection act or declaring martial law. He can’t do that unless there’s actually a widespread uprising that warrants it, i.e. not just isolated incidents you can contain by calling in the national guard. He definitely can’t call on the armed forces to interfere with congress.

As for whether he meant it literally or not, consider a “fire in a theatre” example. Suppose that, for a joke, I hold up a cigarette lighter in a theatre, light it, point at it with my other hand and yell, “Fire!” Now if everyone realises it’s a joke, groans, and keeps watching the show, I’m not going to be prosecuted for anything. However, if people stampede for the exit, someone trips, gets trampled, and dies, I’ll be facing charges of manslaughter. I may not have literally meant, “The theatre is on fire,” but I should have realised that it’s likely enough to be interpreted that way.

The same is true for Trump in this case. He should know about the QAnon conspiracy, the “stormers”, etc. It’s reasonable to expect that at least some of them are going to interpret what he said literally, as incitement to prevent Democrat electors from having their votes counted.

You keep saying it’s obvious that they meddled with votes, but the only thing you present as supporting evidence is that Trump lost. His approval ratings had been falling all year. Pre-election polls predicted an even more decisive win for Biden. If anything, Trump did surprisingly well in the election.

Have you considered that Trump might have been trying to incite widespread violence so he has grounds to invoke the insurrection act and delay the handover? A last-ditch effort to use any dirty trick to stay in the white house.
