MAMEWorld Forums - The Loony Bin - I finally did the deed...

and smoked some weed.

Well, technically, vaped some wax stuff. Took 2 hits... Not sure how big they were. But it was the 3rd time I tried it with a couple of coworkers at my house. I guess I was a bit... I don't know (apprehensive?). Or I just never inhaled enough to get past a threshold.

It lasted 3 or 4 hours (well, maybe longer than that since I still felt more groggy than usual after waking up). Most of the time I felt barely nauseous but definitely dizzy. Like I didn't want to get up and walk around, and I sure as heck didn't want to shake my head back and forth. I wondered how much more could I take before I would pass out. I was trying to gauge how much of an effect it was having on me. It felt like my memory only had a 10 to 5-second length. After 10 seconds I would literally forget what was being said... Maybe something would come back to me several minutes later.

I definitely experienced the slowing of time at some point. That was very odd. But it seemed to last only 5 seconds. I was just noticing... My friend had a youtube video playing, and he was talking over it... It was like lowering the RPMs on a record. Unless that's just what I THOUGHT was happening and it wasn't really a thing... Like it should happen over a longer period of time and be more subtle.

With that being my first time, maybe my body/system wasn't used to what was happening. I felt I could bring my consciousness back voluntarily, but it was also very easy to let it slip. I also felt I was essentially helpless. Like if any kind of emergency came up - I would've been fuuuucked!

Reading up a bit... The dizziness might've been due to not drinking anything.

In conclusion, I don't think it's something for me. It was interesting though, and maybe it could've been better.
