MAMEWorld Forums - EmuChat - robotron + portaudio + bgfx = space invaders? [RESOLVED]

When I use the command line below to start up Robotron, I hear a faint "thump" effect every second or two during attract mode. It reminds me of the aliens marching sound in Space Invaders but it's not as loud or frequent and has a higher pitch. I don't hear it during game play but that might be because there's so many other sounds happening that I can't detect it. The thumping returns when game play ends.

I don't hear the thumping with other machines, like with mk3 for instance so maybe it depends on the machine.
