Thanks for an update. I'll link that once again in case a new user asks a question.

The Command Line menus have been re-organised to make it easier to find specific command line options. There is also a new search function to help find specific commands.
There have been a number of updates on the Command Line pages and it is now up to date with the latest version of Mame.
There is a new Troubleshooting guide on the Getting Started page. This new page goes into a lot of depth on the many problems and pitfalls of running a machine on Mame. If anyone is new to Mame or has a problem, this is the page to check out.
The About Roms, About Software and About Devices pages have been expanded with extra content and more examples on how to use them.

The lists of updates in this section is important since there have been numerous previous posts of asking for commandline parameters when trying to run some particular computer system with some hardware configuration. Or in other cases where users might try and link two games similar to what SailorSat has done in the past. Not an easy task when having to cobble together some arrangement for linking two separate builds of MAME and trying to run some Model 1 hardware setup via external software program that manages the linking configuration.

With all the options and arrangements MAME handles these days (which I still support all the features) versus when it was a simple setup back in 2000AD 's .36 Final version, it somewhat reminds of the 1980s IBM DOS computing era when Central Point Software's PCTools (that could run on a single 5.25' diskette) version of 4.3 update went to version 5.0 and came with 6 or 7 5.25 floppy diskettes that required having to install nearly everything on all the diskettes just to even get PCTools running. The difference was MAME's updates over the years are worth it. Whereas what Central Point software's 4.x update to 5.x version practically ruined the product overnight. Somewhat like Ashton-Tate's dBASE III to dBASE IV update. That was a Titanic like disaster all by itself.

First thought when PCTools package arrived at my work desk and I looked at the 4.3 box and then looked at the freaking War and Peace sized PC Tools 5.0 box: "What the freaking hell happened up there in Oregon to do this mess of a software update?" [Central Point's company location at the time]

At that time, I had missed the days when it was possible to run a utility from a single disk, but that was a long, long ago old era issue so I was disappointed that Central Point software went that route.
