Comparison of national testing rates per capita: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid19-tests-per-million-people Why is backwoods Australia managing to test a far higher proportion of the population than most of the world? Yeah, UAE is making us look bad by comparison, but look at the rest of the world.
Graphs of infections starting from 100th known case - mouse over to highlight a line: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-confirmed-cases-since-100th-case China had massive growth early, but the line has flattened. Same for Korea. Iran's flattened out to a low but steady frowth rate. Spain's starting to show slight flattening, as is France. Japan's had a slow growth rate, and Singapore's slower than that. But USA? Still getting steeper.
