At this time, very little on the federal level (CDC and National Institute of Health) since the a lot of the staff had been removed over the past few years. They are now trying to catch up, but some of the components that make up the covid 19 testing are in short supply which is another delay. Bill Gates and his foundation along with Bezos have been putting in funds to get testing kits available, but the kits have to follow FDA guidelines before being used for testing patients. On the state level, WA, CA, and NY are also working on making covid 19 test kits available asap. Already, many of the countries of conducted lots of tests for their populations (China, s. Korea, Italy, etc) while in US, testing has been very minimal for time being.

Somewhat correct. I am not sure of the number tested, but the cost per test is somewhere of $1000 to $2000 range. Gates foudation (Bill) and Bezos (Amazon) test kits are supposedly to be free for residents in WA. I am guessing probably some exception such as if they are employees of either MS or Amazon, but if it is for all WA residents...kudos for them doing that.

Five or six figure range, and even if anyone survives from the worst effects of Covid 19 virus, their lungs will be in such bad shape the person may not survive the second time around if virus happens again.

The US would have been in a faster fighting capacity had Clinton been president. The group that made up the pandemic response team that was created during Obama's terms in WH were dismissed in 2018 when John Bolton had become DNI lead and informed the jackass that the pandemic response team was initiated by Obama.

As Dec 2019 virus outbreak began in China, the jackass' administration kept downplaying the outbreak over past couple months instead of starting some defensive approach of preventing the outbreak. Maybe they could have offered some assistance to China had the pandemic research staff still been around even though China was trying to hide the actual events of how serious the outbreak was.

Within last couple weeks, the jackass and GOP crazies were still denying existence of outbreak as a hoax or blaming media as 'hyping' the virus. This way the crooks were hoping to manipulate stocks and wall street in thinking that the crooks will be in WH for another four years while US general population would be only ones suffering.

The crooks met their match and then some with covid 19 being caught by a few GOP members at the CPAC convention and now the stocks taking a long overdue correction drop and almost all events that keep economy going are now at a standstill in US along with other countries having similar issues with outbreak.

As quite a few have already stated, the GOP crooks and the wannabe mafia administration were hoping the outbreak would kill off everybody else (ie: general US citizens) but them in hopes they can steal another election. They underestimated of what would happen and come November 2020, expect general elections to go to 70% Democratic victories over GOP members in upcoming political races.
