I'm sure they have their reasons. #1 being the fact that in Oregon, Democrats have a supermajority in all 3 fucking branches. The republicans are unable to get anything done that THEIR voter base wants.
Take the carbon tax shit that they just walked out on. I know it's a shitty thing to do, but then again, it would pass AS-IS no matter what they vote, because of the supermajority. So as the final compromise, they want the bill to be on the November ballot, for the people to vote on it. Now, is that such an unreasonable request?
