That brings you back to my first point. Crazy malpractice insurance prices because of, and on top of, extravagant lawsuits, is a MAJOR factor on why heath care is so expensive in the States. That shit needs to go away. If malpractice is determined, strip the credentials. If blatant violations caused death, put the doctor in jail for negligent homicide or something. Awarding stupid amounts of cash drives prices up for everyone, and won't bring anyone back from the dead. At MOST, legal fees taken care of, and outstanding hospital bills nullified.
That, and basically no regulations on the cost of medicine. Congress (both sides) doesn't even want to put the thumb screws on the pharmaceutical companies. Democrats want to take everyone's money, to pay those companies what they want.
Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
