Just so we're keeping track:

Fantastic work by Klaus to get the broken MCUs to produce something useful.

Sadly this marks a point of what is likely to be an extreme slow down in the ability to acquire these types of chips. I was really lucky to be able to reach out and make a deal with a MAME friendly collector who had access to some rare and needed i8751 MCUs. From now on we'll need to wait until these PCBs come up for auction or another MAME friendly collector is willing to donate their MCU for the process.

I'd like to thank coolmod, rtw and the Guru for their support and/or donating a chip or two. Not to forget a HUGE thank you to Klaus for doing the actual work!! If you're counting it's close to 20 of the MCUs Klaus has processed for us and most of those have been in the last 2 months!!
