While not officially logged, it is known. It is flagged as having incomplete sound and that covers this instance. Given the youtube video, it may be a different model of TMS52xx being used than expected as the current MAME pretty much matches behavior he shows.
It may be a speed/timing issues as detailed with the streamer LordBBH having some fun tooling with the speed of the TMS - finding a sweet spot in 113-115% overclock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pT8PjR3wVeo
No official word as to how to fix properly, but I can assure you it is known.
