Here is where going by memory goes wrong. Color monitors used with coinop video games were still somewhat rare during 1970s because they were still expensive. If the monitor looked like it had color, it was likely a color transparent overlay piece used that was taped on to the monitor. Being much, much older and going to amusement places before videogames took over the mechanical and electromechanical games, I had a chance to see how arcades had evolved during 1970s decade.

More info such as which country or region was this game played in? (Europe region, Asia, etc). There are still games out there that most would not be familiar with, but there are web sites with flyers that can reduce the guesses.
These games would be closest to description even though the gameplay description is different than what is shown in the flyer. I am guessing the game description that was mentioned will be of an early to mid 1980s video game instead of a late 1970s game. -- Nintendo Computer Othello
