Not surprising that he won't cooperate for leniency and expect pardons, but Stone might not get pardon on all charges and will still be behind bars for other charges that can't be pardoned (ie: specific state level charges that are not comingled with federal charges) That way Stone will still be behind bars with charges that have yet to be filed.

Can't pardon him for the obstruction charge I don't believe since interacting with Trump is likely an element of the criminal act. That would make Trump a co-conspirator. -
To also add....Stone gets the no-nonsense judge who will not put up with his shenanigans and antics.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson issued a gag order on Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort and later revoked his bail and threw him in jail.
She also reprimanded Manafort’s lead attorney Kevin Downing for a sidewalk speech he gave after his client’s arraignment and soon after issued a gag order barring parties from discussing the case with the press.
btw: Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and Hope Hicks names should be replaced with likes of Devin Nunes, Dana Rorhabacher, and Lindsey Graham instead since they're involved far more than Reince and Sean and Hope.
