It isn't us [sane citizens of USA] wanting to pay for this, but more of the sob-in-office, GOP crooks, and Russian oligarchs planning to rob the money from US Treasury thinking they will try and get away with it.
Imo, it is probably the other way around, Putin is probably blackmailing the sob-in-office to pressure the Senate to remove US imposed sanctions from various Russian oligarchs such as the Russian steel controller (O. Deprisaka) and once the US Treasury Department (is: Mnuchin) removes US sanctions, then the sob-in-office turns over US money from Treasury Dept. and pays Deprisaka for a bunch of over-inflated costs for a bunch of steel slats which will be the sob's so called US border wall. Basically the sob, Putin, and Deprisaka committing outright robbery of US money (which the sob will pocket some of the money for himself as well) to put up some useless vanity crap for himself.
>Does that sound like a good idea to you? If so, congratulations, you're a Republican!
The insane thing is some GOP state representatives in red states like W. Virginia and another red state, forget which, want to take away the state's money that is used for assistance programs for the state's handicap and elderly and give all that money back to the sob-in-office to build that useless steel slat border barrier.
I am glad California voters in 2018 have made GOP party almost and extinct party in the state.
