Rachel has had to tone things down a bit (act serious) when reporting news events on cable tv compared to her previous years with Air America radio network when she used to entertain and be somewhat wild on radio. iirc Keith had recommended Rachel to join MSNBC before Keith was eventually ousted by Comcast once Comcast bought out NBC.

Knowing how Comcast operates and if manager Andrew Lack is still there, the network will eventually go right wing propaganda.
