I'm trying to find a suitable monitor for my MAME cabinet and I'm considering using the WGF1979 as an alternative to a real CRT 19" monitor. It is Wells Gardner's replacement unit for Namco games like Pac-Man, Galaga, etc. The listing at Happ is fairly sketchy but it appears to support 15Khz over CGA.
So my 2 questions are: Is this going to display similar to the old CRTs and will the Arcade VGA do what I need? And how do I connect the VGA output from the card to the monitor? I guess that's 3 questions.
I'm new at this, trying to learn. I thought I'd ask here instead of keep bugging Andy.
