If this is in Nevada, you might have to write it off because the businesses in such states (NJ and NV) still have to follow gambling laws guidelines that any machines have to be torn apart once no longer in use. That's why it is a blessing that any gambling titles that are added to MAME such as any of the PEPlus hardware should be considered a minor miracle since most of them have been torn apart by this time.
With some of the gambling laws now somewhat loosened by recent US Supreme Court ruling such as team sports betting is now allowed in all states (each state now sets up its own specific gambling laws), maybe a better chance that any of the gambling/gaming cabs won't be destroyed as quickly.
Only way I can see Sigma Derby being preserved is if someone working inside the business is willing to make backups of roms and send anonymous or maybe someone on DU group will come across various pcb pieces like what has been done with Royal Ascot.
