If I were you & the few extra dollars aren't a big deal, I'd just go ahead & get the ultimate, that's what I have. You may want to use the LED's at some point down the road plus you'll have room to expand at some point if you feel like it.
So anyways, yes you can do 2 spinners. Where it says trackball & P3 on the left side of the picture. You can use those axis any way that you see fit! And you'll have the P3 buttons there for that players spinner or whatever you choose. That's pretty much all the spinner is, half of a trackball.
