Uganda police arrest US citizen after viral video shows attack on hotel workers
Police in Uganda said they arrested a U.S. citizen this week after reviewing video that appeared to show him physically attacking hotel employees.
The official account for the Uganda Police Force wrote on Twitter Friday that they had arrested Jimmy Taylor after reviewing footage of the incident, which occurred at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala, Uganda.
Taylor was detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala and is being charged with assault, police wrote on their official Twitter account.
"Thank you for your vigilance and sending us a video of an incident that happened at Grand Imperial Hotel. We have arrested the suspect, Jimmy Taylor, an American citizen," the Uganda Police Force Twitter account wrote. "He was detained at the Central Police Station, Kampala on charges of assault.
Video of the incident was posted on Facebook and shows a man, identified as Taylor, striking hotel workers and telling them to obey his orders.
The clip begins with Taylor jumping over the reception desk and knocking what appear to be glass items off of tables. He later comes to the hotel lobby where he is seen hitting one of the employees and accusing them of hating Jesus.
“F--k Uganda,” Taylor says in the video. “I’ve come to love Uganda, I’ve come to help Uganda, but Uganda hates Jesus through this son-of-a-bitch.
Taylor later states that the employees need to “obey what I say.”
This is an example of what the sick GOP Christofascists would like to have sent out to the rest of the planet to represent extremist ugly side of America while assaulting host countries' citizens.
I am guessing the visiting asshole was there on a Christian crusade along with others to try and proselytize the citizens into crazy fascist Christianity in which the Ugandan citizens would eventually be part of the government that would commit genocide against minority citizens that practice different religions, or have different sexual orientation, or have different political views.
It already has happened in some of the African countries courtesy of our USA based crazy Christofascists. All the countries outside of USA boundaries need to deny entry to any of these sick psychopaths from visiting and polluting their country.
PS: Don't bother doing 'what-aboutisms' replies with the extremist Sunni/wahabyist (pardon spelling) moslem side of Muslim religion or Ultra Orthodox religion as well. The religious extremists need to be kept inside their country of origin and not be allowed to visit other countries and pollute those countries with their intolerance attitudes and religious customs. That means even the current USA VP christofascist Pence shouldn't be visiting countries imo.
PPS: I couldn't find thread on Democratic Underground or maybe it was on another site, but some crazy Baptist church (not affiliated with Westboro Baptist) wants to send their missionaries out to capitols of Scandinavian region countries and target American expatriates living in parts of Europe. Personally, the European Union should vet out any future US citizens wanting to travel to make sure the riffraff portion of USA stays out.
