error pulling git

hi fello MAMErs!
since a few days, trying to pull the latest git I get an error:
The command is:

git pull -v --no-rebase --progress "origin"



and the error i get is:

BUG: run-command.c:494: disabling cancellation: Invalid argument
      0 [main] git 9848 cygwin_exception::open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to git.exe.stackdump



the same command has been working flawlessly for the last months.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
