I tried setting up my ServoStiks today to my ArcadeSD following these directions (which are based on Andy's off the Servostik page). But I’m having some problems.
I set the circuit board to HardWare mode, and confirmed that it definetly no longer works on my Winblows box. Then I soldered up a relay and wired everything up, set the coin player 2 to 4/8 way in the ArcadeSD settings, but the servo never activates on the board when I change games.
I got out the voltmeter and am getting 5v to the positive and dead on the black. The "J" jamma cable (which sends the 4/8 way switching) reads 5v as well.
Some questions for anyone who may know...
1. Should I hear the Servostik when I boot up the ArcadeSD machine? Do they get initialized? 2. Do I have the white/green lines swapped? Not according to he picture and I've yet to try swapping them to test. 3. I had to bend my relay pin so it would touch the other ben. Could that have messed up the relay?
thanks everyone!
