Well obviously. But here's the thing... What she did wasn't on the job or at work.
But what's even worse, if I got fired because someone claims I said something "racist", then they would have just opened themselves up to a libel/slander lawsuit. Why? Because there wasn't anything she said that was actually racist. Unless you'd care to explain to me (or anyone else) how what she said was racist.
Not that I'm defending what she said... Just her right to say it. According to her, it was while "medicated"... Having taken Ambien. But, that might just be her excuse from all the people she apparently angered. I'm unaware of the side-effect, but a lot of people say stuff they shouldn't from time to time. "Shouldn't" as in other people would react to it in a negative way, and have hurt feelings. And we all get mad and say inappropriate things from time to time. You calling me an "Asshole" is a great example.
