Not a rom request mods, dont panic ![](//www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif)
But I'm currently troubleshooting a model 2c board with Sega Touring Car Championship on it which powers but shows no activity (or loading or anyhting). Since the ROM chip legs were corroded, I removed them, cleaned up the sockets and legs and went to reinstall and had used the model2.cpp file as reference though what I found odd is that my program eproms epr-19570 and epr-19571 are supposedly of the rev c set (I'm assuming since mame favours the latest version) yet my board is clearly marked as rev a.
The labels are different to the originals and are ST parts instead of MX but they are factory looking parts and all chips have a 1996 date code, so unless it's an official upgrade I don't think it's a home job
So just wondering whether I'm right in assuming the following: Rev C is the parent set 19570 and 19571 are C specific No other chips are likely to be different
