The officer decided to retire. It is a mixed issue because some law enforcement agencies recommend if an on scene officer is uncertain, then wait for reinforcement backups before entering a dangerous incident.

The arguments could go either way in 51% to 49% ratio of whether the officer should have rushed in the dangerous incident or whether teachers be armed or not.

But...the best solution(s): raise the age limit to 21 for any gun or gun related products purchases and ban military style assault weapons (semi automatic) which are meant for military action....not outdoor hunting unless one likes the taste of lead from many multiple bullet fragments in deer/venison meat.

One thing is GOP congress, NRA, and the sob-in-office won't be offering any sane solutions other than more prayer/thoughts and once again going after entertainment industry (movies/music/videogames) as that will cure the problem compared to the real actual problem itself.
