Re: Voter ID (Fraud Prevention) Laws... There is the argument that you have things like Absentee Voting, and votes sent in overseas (i.e. troops in "occupied territories"), ...And veterans are more likely to vote Republican, but anyway... The idea is that an I.D. isn't required for those types of votes, so why are they required when someone is there in person? The argument was made by a judge I think it was, from back in the Reagan days... And, he does make some good points. But, to me, one could also make the same argument that someone doesn't need auto insurance... Just because they've never been in an accident.

Or maybe that's a bad comparison.
