MAMEWorld Forums - EmuChat - Namco System 11/12 Bootup and Tekken 3

Hello everyone

First off, I just want to say thank you very much for attempting to make the Namco System 11/12 emulation better as each MAME version gets released. This particularly applies to the Soul Calibur and Tekken series as I am a huge fan of those video game series. I was heartbroken when I was little when I found out that the emulation was not complete for the Namco System 11/12 systems. But I am absolutely thrilled that its close to near complete. Thanks again

I do have two questions to address though if that's OK. For the Namco System 11/12 games (at least in the case of the Soul Calibur and Tekken games; not sure if this is applicable to the other System 11/12 games), I noticed that during the bootup process, it does not show the "Initialising!! Jamma Video Standard" screen, and instead presents white, yellow, blue and green coloured bars as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jH9Xt0FgH8s. And if it is not meant to happen, will this be considered in future MAME releases? I know I am being a huge nag for pointing this out...I just like the emulation to be as accurate to the original PCB boards as possible...if that's not asking for too much...

Also, when I play "Tekken 3" on MAME and it goes to the credits, it pauses after it shows how you beaten each opponent, and then goes to the next stage after a few seconds. The sound is also in a constant pause. Strangely enough, it doesn't happen when it reaches Stage 9 where you fight Heihachi, and Stage 10 where you fight Ogre. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Or is it just me...(: If it is a general issue, please consider fixing this issue. I would greatly appreciate it.
