It might be that they doubt the allegations made against him. No hard proof or evidence
has ever actually been put forward (even the yearbook signature, or date... something on
it was said to have been forged by the accuser -herself). And, any rational person
should find it strange that said allegations finally come out when the guy is running for
senate. If my memory serves me correctly (and verifying with some googling), the first
thing I ever heard about Roy Moore in the news was when he was defying the US Supreme
Court... apparently on something to do with Same Sex Marriage... Then, later, Trump
reinstated him. I personally can't figure out why the lady chose this time (here
recently) to come out and say/claim what he did. Just a side note, but she looks just as
old, if not older than him. And why did Gloria Allred have to be there at that press
conference? Was she the lady's handler? That doesn't help the idea that it isn't about
politics, or (another) DNC born conspiracy (e.g. "Russian Hacking").

Not that I'm defending the guy, but I'm sure the reason why they fought so hard and dirty
against him was due to his political and moral views.

But whatever. Trump could still appoint him to some other office, just to (again) stick
it to his haters. Which, couldn't've been done had he not lost THIS election.
