When I first heard the Franken story before posting that, the only details I got was that he kissed a girl without her permission and took the photo which is the equivalent of an SNL sketch or the end scene of The Hangover with all the selfies. But people talk about the photo with "and you know he only took the photo in order to embarrass her later". BULL FUCKING SHIT. That is BULL SHIT. It's a fucking joke and if that's the worst thing to happen to the bitch then she's got a kush fucking existence.
If we say that joke isn't ok then next up it's not ok to do comedy like that on tv either or any goddamn where, and we are headed toward an even shittier political correctness environment. Secondly regardless of whatever Franken actually did, we are now at the point where you can lose your career for making a move. Thirdly, and I don't care if I'm flamed for this, girls sometimes lie their fucking tits off about details of sexual stuff when they are mad at a guy. I stopped dating a girl once, she immediately started dating my friend at the time and he showed me shit she wrote about me which was all bullshit including saying I had a small dick (she never saw it). So it's very possible that details like "he pulled my head toward his forcefully" simply means he isn't a good kisser.
Later I got the updates with the details of how in some way she had said "no" before the kiss so that changed it for me for the Franken story, but it's clear where we are headed with this stuff. I don't really align with Franken politically anymore than I do with Harvey Weinstein or Charlie Rose and I didn't stand up for them so you're argument isn't that good. Franken wasn't even for medicare for all until like 2 weeks ago. He's not that progressive.
While I'm on the subject though, all this shit would have played out differently if any of these people were attractive. If Franken looked like Clooney then she would have kissed him back. So they both theoretically could do the exact same thing but one of them is getting kissed back and the other one, people now want to ruin their career including our shit bird president. People talking about others as if they are sexual predators when it's a fucking kiss, at least in Franken's case. They're all ugly as shit or 50+ years older than the girl in the case of Charlie Rose.
The backlash is going to hurt women because lots of guys are going to be too scared to make a move now if it can ruin their life/career, so there will be even more lonely women. I guess they're really "winning".
