Damn this is hard for a Windows user...

Trying to set an environment variable and make it permanent. Tried so far to add both

DEVKITPRO="/home/urherenow/devkitPro"

and

export DEVKITPRO="/home/urherenow/devkitPro"

to the end of ~/.profile and ~/.bashrc (with and without quotes)

but get nothing when I type: $DEVKITPRO unless I use the export command from within bash

wazzup?

Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
