I remember there was an old discussion on forum here in which a dedicated Nichibutsu cab (not Taito Crazy Climber) had different musical arrangements compared to Taito licensed version. I didn't save any specific posts in that old thread when I should have, but I do recall there was an ebay auction of a Crazy Climber pcb (from a dedicated Nichibutsu cab) and supposedly the pcb hardware is different compared to the Taito licensed version. iirc that dedicated Nichibutsu Crazy Climber pcb had an auction bidding war in which winning bid went somewhere between $ 500 to 750 range.

I am guessing there might be one or maybe two alternate Crazy Climber versions (dedicated Nichibutsu cab version not Taito licensed) that could be added to MAME want list. I wasn't a hardcore fan of the game, so I am not exactly what is missing, but there used to be some posters/visitors here that were familiar with Crazy Climber and knew exactly what alternate versions of Crazy Climber did exist and what still needs to be found.
